Well, in an attempt to be reunited with a loved one I enlisted the services of this website - Emergency Magick. I contacted them and requested their assistance and queried the cost. The amount would be $400. It didn't seem too bad since they garanteed on the website and in the return email that results would be seen within 1 - 10 days. Well ... I saw nothing so I requested the return of my monies.

They said that they would return some of it and would try casting an even more potent spell that would should bring results. So I relented and let them "cast another spell". In the end, I have been trying to get my monies back, but they will not respond to my emails. I have reported them to the International Fraud department and am hoping for a resolution. I just don't want others to get scammed as I did.

EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back!

HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO:

Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.

According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days.

If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.

Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!

DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!

Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.

And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.

Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.

If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.

CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.

And good luck Let us know how you do!

I think the problem here is you can blame anyone for anything without proofs.

BTW, we do have proofs.

As most of people when complaining about an issue tend to exagerate or create lies to exclude themselves from guilt, Jenn lies and exagerate (exagerating and lying is practically the same). The problem was caused by a misunderstanding (her fault). Immediatelly she emailed us a bunch of badwording and threatenin, exactly this kind of behavior is which caused the problem she had with this man she desire, and required help with, you can notice it in every message she posted in this site. I think she has many problems, the root may be her Agressive behavior, she doesn't look very normal unless to me, we reply to her report, immediatelly she replyes, seems she's aaaaall day on the net, maybe her agressive behavior is a problem to socialize or something alike which makes impossible for someone to help her (You help, she screws it more)

Also I do not intend to change Shannon's beliefs or discuss, if you do not believe in the occult, no one care about other's beliefs, but in order for you to have a little idea, try using Pendulums, explain, why do they move? You'll see/be sure there's something "occult" that exist behind it

I do not know who is in charge of this site/reviewing posts, but a site who search justice and is full of bad words looks real bad, I am not saying your site looks bad but giving you an idea, according to your rules all Jenn's posts should have not even be posted, isn't it?

"Rip-off Report is also not accepting comments like those found on many sites that have "threads" with meaningless comments, ..in most cases using foul and insulting language against others, similar to those assaults on victims who have come to the Rip-off Report for justice."

Jenna, my sincerest apologies. I misunderstood your original post. So what you're saying is that you sent money to someone in an effort to be "reunited" with someone you used to date? My bad. Anyway, you still shouldn't have given up a dime for something so incredibly rediculous. I'm sorry, but I just don't believe in that kind of stuff.

Jenna, I have not intention of sounding cruel but it you actually paid someone to "reunite" you with a deceased loved one and actually believed that this individual could do it, you deserved what you got. Don't misunderstand me, I de believe that we can still "communicate" with loved ones who have moved on, but you don't need to pay someone else to do it. It is possible that some people have a stronger "connection" to the "other side" than others, but that doesn't that you should pay them to "talk" to a loved one. C'mon, let's be for real.

What A JOKE!

#15REBUTTAL Individual responds

Sat, October 22, 2005

First off, I would like to say that Ivan is lying. As a consumer I am completely appaulled at his comment.

I have the information to prove that he has ripped me off. I have the paypal transactions and the information pertaining to the amounts that he asked for in order to complete the "spell" work.

Also, the person that I requested the spell to reunite me with does in fact know that I exist because I dated him!!!! What an idiot you are to think that I would just ask to be "reunited" (look it up what does this mean) with some random person. You should check your information before you post such as stupid response to a claim against you.

Just to inform you, I have posted on many different sites that you have scammed me out of my hard-earned money. I have not been the only one to post though, there are many others who have undergone the SAME experience with you. So try to contend this. I may be only one person, but when you scam more than one, people always tell of their bad experiences. Remeber this. When someone has a good experience they tell a few people. When someone has a bad experience they tell the WORLD!

Good luck with your life because things will soon catch up with you Ivan.

Well, first off I would like to say, as a consumer I am extremely appaulled at the company - emergency magick's, response. Apparently they are trying to conetend that they did not charge $400 USD. Guess what, I have the paypal transactions and other emails from them to prove it! Also, for their information the person does know that I exist because I dated him! What an a*****e you are Ivan. Don't worry, others are already aware of your fraudulent ways. There are posts everywhere to say that you are a fraud - not just mine, others have posted as well. I have reported you to paypal, my credit card company and the International Fraud Investigations.

Ivan, go to hell. You are taking yourself there already.

This person was refunded:
http://www.emergencymagick.com/jrefund.jpg

As you can see in the upper-left part of the image, it is a refund in reference to 4RU42038Y19872901 which is the ID of her full payment.

As you can see, it can not be a partial refund as she claims, it is a FULL REFUND. To be more specific, if we would have sent her just "some" or a partial refund as she claims, we would have required to send a new payment with a new ID.

Regarding her case, the staff failed because she didnt mentioned important details which made the case impossible to succeed (the person she wanted help with didnt even knew about her existance). We did accepted her case because she never mentioned that detail untill the very end of our work.

Finally this person is a liar and an exaggerated, our fee was of 75 USD at that time, and not 400 as she claims, she dont even paid in USD but in CAD dollars.

Thanks to this site for allowing us to post our message here.

here is another image I got from paypal:
