As part of another purchase, was told that we would receive materials on Easy Saver and American Leisure for review... for which we were not interested in receiving. The salesperson told us that after reviewing the materials, if we still weren't interested to contact Customer Service to cancel the memberships... and we would not be charged.

Received the materials in the mail and promptly call EMI Customer Service to cancel the memberships and requested that nothing be charged to the credit card. Received cancellation #s for both actions.

Checked the credit card a week later... and saw EMI had processed fees against my account. Contacted EMI Customer Service and was told that while the memberships had been canceled... since we didn't specifically "request a refund"... the processing fees were still charged to credit card. EMI basically wants to charge people for reading their junk mail!
