An individual going by the name Denis (Armand) Muller , representing a bogus company named Emotion Luxury Events Management (HK) visited our premises in 2009 and had us sign up for an alleged event that would take place in Hotel Conrad in Brussels almost one year later. The event was supposed to be a fashion show as we are a textile company.

His sales-pitch apparently seemed convincing enough to entice my dad to sign up although a few warning signs and red flags would have obviously made myself wary had I been there, as the individual operates from a P.O. Box in Luxembourg, representing a company registered or allegedly registered in Hong Kong, and wanted money wired in advance to a bank account in Delaware, a fiscal paradise in the USA.

Fast-forward to 2010 when the event was supposed to be prepared my dad phoned Hotel Conrad only to discover that no event was ever booked at all.
He contacted the con artist who apologised that the event was 'cancelled' and he would wire the money back. One month later the money wasn't wired and a google search revealed that this individual already conned a company named Chopard in Hong Kong and he ripped them off for the sum of HK$ 300,000.

Following a first report on another website where I exposed his actions, he failed to con yet another company in South Africa for which he would allegedly organise an event that had to take place in embassies there. I hope to be able to file a case together with them and maybe cooperate with Chopard to stop this individual from doing harm and send him to jail where he belongs.
