Empire Marketing Products (EMP) (also, Mpire) said they were working with the Government to help Senior Citizens start online businesses that would be funded with money donated (tax write-off) by Amazon and a half-dozen big credit card companies.  There was also a Government Grant available to pay back the cost of startup once the business was producing.  It would be an Amazon affiliate site and EMP would do all the work, if we didn't want to learn how to do it all; which we didn't.

Sophia Porter was the main person involved at this stage.

In the year since then, it has been a nightmare!  They have produced nothing but a non-working website!  We are in debt tens of thousands of dollars!  They said we would be making thousands of dollars a month to pay back the credit card debt they ran up for us.  Our Amazon affiliate website has not made a single sale in a year!!!  Not a penny!

They have only fulfilled a fraction of their promises or contractual agreements.  When we had the Amazon Affiliate website and two other webpages that they put up for us analyzed by a professional, he found they didn't have links behind the pages or the menu items (except the one to Amazon which wasn't shown well).  There was no Facebook, Twitter, SEO, etc., that was promised.  No legal work done at all. ($10,000 for Wills, Trusts, Corporate Credit, etc.)  They had a major Breach of Security that cost us thousands more.

Now we find out that Amazon ends an affiliate site's link to them if they have not made any money after 180 days (six months)!  EMP never said a word about this to us until we were cutoff without access.  We asked questions multiple times that were never answered.

The training they offered was a farce at best, and they charged us over $20,000 for access to a site where we could read about running a website and being an Amazon Affiliate.  There was better training on YouTube! The 12 30-minute coaching sessions with people were always about something besides training and the last coach said he didn't know about the topic that he was supposed to train us in!

Then they announced that they had completed all their contracts, and we were on our own; excpt for the $9.99 a month they should get for hosting our worthless, non-working website!  They even shut down our access to the back door of our website so we couldn't get in to see it anything could be done.  Not a word from them about why they shut us out!

Thanks to EMP, we are now facing financial ruin!  They have refused to give any of our money back, when it is so painfully clear to everyone that they have not completed but, mayber, a small fraction of their contracts with us. Surely they have fooled other seniors like us.  It is a shame that a company that prays on Seniors should be allowed to continue to do so!

We are reporting them to the BBB, FTC, and the FBI.  We are asking for others who have been scammed by them to also report to these agencies.  If they get enough cries for help, they will be required to take action.
