Emperor's Elegancy, William Pratt Ordered smoking jacket as a gift, incomplete order, did not honor the refund I was promised Internet
I ordered a smoking jacket as a gift through Jay Pratt (identical to Emperor's Elegancy). I had trouble with the website, not allowing me to enter that I wanted the advertised free embroidery, so I entered it in the comments box.
After getting an extremely vague receipt via email, I responded to to customer service address listed asking to confirm my order details. I did this several times to no avail.
I also paid $60 for overnight delivery, as this was a birthday gift. I did not receive it on time, in fact my order was so late I requested they not bother with the overnight delivery, I had already missed the birthday by over a week, and simply refund me to cost of the shipping. I was given no reason for the delay, no response to my requests for a tracking number, no response at all until I threatened to report them for fraud.
When I finally received the jacket, there was no embroidery. For weeks after, I saw no refund to my account. I have since sent several more emails that went unanswered.
Additionally, when I tried to call the number that showed up on my statement, I reached a trucking company. They show false information on their account. I addressed this in my emails as well and got no response.
I plan to wait a few more days for a response, then look into reporting the company.
