Empire set out a sales person who promised the carpet we ordered will be installed on 9/12/16. we just moved in and spent all weekend painting the room before install on Monday 912/16. My wife stayed home waiting for the installers and no one showed by 9 AM so she called the customer service person and found out the carpet was never scheduled or ordered! called customer service and all they could do was try again, now carpet is due the 9/23/16 so they say. I called to get the answer : why wasn't the carpet ordered as promised? No one would take the time to find out Why(4 calls). I called the regional office and was promissed that I would get an answer from a monager within the hour 9/12/16 and no call (Still Waiting) called again today and still cannot get hold of a manager! I cancelled my order and was told I might see my deposit in 10 to 14 days? Now I have all my funiture and my grnd childrens furniture (Beds) in the garage wait for carpet. If I reorder from another company , the process starts all over again. I cannot get a straight answer from anyone at Empire. What would be different from Empire this time if I allow them to try to reorder the carpet again. This place is a ripoff because one they get your business they think at there mercy and forget who's the customer! seems like they took my money and ran!
