Empire Relocation of Denver, Colorado Took My Deposit, No Service, Website & Company Gone Denver, Colorado
Spoke with Yvette Marshall at Empire Relocation on 4/27/2012 to arrange a move from Parker, CO to Hampstead, NC. She was very informative and knowledgeable. After getting several quotes, I ditched the lowest and the highest and went for the middle. I gave a deposit of $870.20, which was processed on 4/28/2012.
I have always tried to support local mom & pop types of businesses and this is the first time it has been a bad experience.
As of today 8/4/2012, their website is gone, none of the phone numbers are working and none of the phone numbers used to contact me are returning calls.
I feel utterly embarrassed for letting my family down regarding this move. I too am willing to participate in any class action suit that may transpire.

United States of AmericaCall from Jason Price Received
#2Author of original report
Fri, August 10, 2012
Got his name and number from the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), a federal agency that overseas the trucking industry. Placed a call to Jason Price and he responded to me within 12 hours and has promised a refund of my deposit. He apologized for the misunderstanding. I will be anxiously awaiting the credit. He also said that the reason the website is gone is because he is "revamping it."
