These people are a joke......We had a sales man by the name of Joe come out 2xs before we finally decided to go with Empire.

I will make this short.

We purchased laminate floor. The sample vs the real stuff installed is different. The stuff installed is cheap. It's made by Quick Step. We paid 3500.00 for a 470sq rm.The floor only cost approx 1.35 from Quick step.Empire ripped us big time.We had the floor installed on 11/19/07. We started making phone call on 11/20/07 on how dissatisfied we are, we feel misled by the sales man,we want this crap floor out.On Friday 11/23/07 the sales man came back to check the floor, he was rude disrespectful and cared less how we felt. We showed our anger and told him how we feel about him and Empire. I slamed the door on him after we threw him out.But we still had never gotten a return phone call from anyone regarding this issue. We have called everyday, several times a day.No resolution.
We have called GE to disbute the charge, we contacted 7on yourside(hopefully they will take this story).This week I finally got to talk to a Keith,installation manger,thought I was getting somewhere,glad I didn't hold my breath.I got to talk to a Helen and apparently has passed this case onto a Tim Sherwin who is supposed to call tomarrow,ya right.
We will not settle for waiting much longer.We will not settle for anything less than what we feel is the right fix to this issue.

Anybody game for class action?
We will be contacting BBB by Friday 11/30/07 as well.

We did hear from Tim on Thursday 11/29/07. After some talking, Empire was able to offer us an upgraded floor ,installed for no charge.Empire can truly stand up to plate to make consumers happy!
