Three years ago we became tired of the carpets throughout our house.They were still serviceable but they were 10 years old and in need of updating. So we called Empire Today upon seeing one of their TV commercials. The Salesman was very responsive and we chose our new carpets over$10,000 worth but we were very excited. About 3 months after installation we called Empire about some damage we noticed, a small bold spot in the center of one of the rooms. We blamed our dog for that at first but when they sent a warranty inspector to look at it he told us that the pile was defective and falling out.

Empire did come out and had to reinstall carpet in two rooms. A year later after the warranty expired another hole developed in the carpet in another room. We paid $250 to Empire to patch the carpet. Three years have passed and our carpets look worn ,drabby and stained. They have also stretched out of shape in all of our rooms. We had the carpets professionally cleaned(Stanely Steemer) and they still look awful.  Our only alternative seems to be to replace the carpet. The Carpet we purchased from Empire is without a doubt the worst carpet my wife and I have purchased in 40 years!

 Rick Hinkle , Coatesville,Pa Shortly after posting my report I was contacted by empire today. After some time Empire resolved my problem very satiforily. Empire took the issue seriously and Rippoff.com gets attention.

 Soon after posting this report a customer service manager contacted me and after a couple of weeks totally resolved my issue . I have a satisfactory settlement.
