Complaint Review: EMPIRE TODAY

EMPIRE TODAY Installed $7,000 carpet in our entire home that was immediately discolored in areas upon installation and is becoming progressively worse since installation. Carpet has a 10 year warranty and they will not followup or follow through to replace our carpet under warranty. Belleville Michigan

It's been two months of constant aggressive advocation for my family on our part, by weekly phone calls to floor supervisors in Texas by the name of Anna and Saul, without any appropriate followup from the Michigan office.

We have been told that they will "discount" a new carpet throughout our home because "sunlight" may have caused the random discoloration in patches of our home (present upon installation, and getting progressively worse).  Gray carpet was installed 7/15 and had sublte areas of violet discolored patches in dining area and master bedroom, dining area patches have more than doubled in size and changing from violet to hot pink.

Major lack of integrity in this company and their warranties.

The floor supervisors have yet to give me a contact for their supervisor.

Company called today to offer complete carpet replacement at no cost under warranty, after second inspection 10 days ago

Tiara Campbell kindly spoke to our family from the Belleville, MI office today for the first time and let us know we will be able to have a complete carpet replacement.  3/15/18 is the appointment date for someone from Empire to come to our home and allow us to pick out a carpet replacement.  After the decision is made regarding the carpet we wish to use for the replacement, they will schedule an installation date.
