I had ceramic tile installed on my kitchen and bathroom floor one year agothis Sept. Empire has not done the job right yet. The first time the installer did not replace the toilet correctly. Water leaked from the toilet on the under lying floor until it had produced rot and mold. They came out and pulled up the floor. Having to pull out the whole floor and replace it.. That was a monday and the tile was supposed to be ordered that day.

When the installer returned the next day he said Empire had forgotten to order the tile . So he piddled around all day and returned the next day. When he opened the tile it was the wrong tile . So again he piddled around. The next day he came back and did get the floor down in the next two days. It looked good.but in a couple of weeks I noticed that when I stepped on the tiles there would be a cracking sound. I watched those areas and in a fews days there were cracks between the tiles.

I called Empire and they did send some one out to look at the floor. They sent out an installer to redo the job and low and behold they brought the wrong tile. So I Try to call the corparate office to speak to someone in authority and instead of getting me someone to talk therethey rerouted me to the Nashville Office.

I asked for a refund so I could get me someone who could do the job right and the manger refused and said if I wanted the job redone I would have to do the color of tile that they had ordered even it wasn't the right color Stay clear of this company!!!

Empire also ripped me off and have done NOTHING to help my situation. They are a terrible company and don't hold up to their "excellent customer service" statement.
