Complaint Review: Empire Today

Empire Today I called Empire because of their 50% off sale. Salesman came and showed some samples.After paying almost $20 per square foot for plastic junk I wish I had gone to Home Depot. Has anyone received 50% off? Northlake Illinois

I called Empire because of their 50% off sale. Salesman came and showed some samples. I asked about the 50% off and he said "that only applies to hardwood flooring”. I wanted Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) so the "sale” did not apply to me. After they installed some cheap China junk, I saw the ad again and it clearly stated LVT was included. I called Empire and no one was able to explain. They just told me they didn’t know and the only person in the company that did know was out of town.

Finally after 4 days the original salesman called me and said the only LVT that the sale applied to was xxx line and it had a "do not sell” order on it. So, I said that means that no LVT was included in the sale. He said that’s not true so I asked which is on sale and he couldn’t answer me. Then I asked for the company policy or whatever it was that excluded me and was told he would email it to me. Of course he didn’t send anything, including any warranty information.

After paying almost $20 per square foot for plastic junk I wish I had gone to Home Depot. Has anyone received 50% off? United States

 Already been through "customer service " a number of times. They no nothing about anything. She did give me a reference number for my complaint: 1-4746353930. Look it up and you email me, not the other way around.
