I researched several car cover companies oline for a Christmas gift. Looking for a quality cover that would be used inside only on newly painted car. The car cover purchased was the nultimat and was descibed as indoor cover, soft inside to prevent scratching, etc. The cover was not packed neatly just squished into a box and sent. The car cover was not soft, poorly made, looked like a large wrinkled trash bag.

I understand this was not a top of the line cover howver the item was falsely described. I paid $93 and did not plan on having to return the item or would not have bought wasting shipping charges to me and to return (over $30), then the company deducted 20% restocking fee. I think this is unfair considering the description. I have lost over $55 on a $93 cover purchase!!!

The company did not respond to my request to waive the restock fee. I would have been upset and taken my shipping losses as that is part of shopping online. The company also tool over 30 days to refund the purchase also. In the meantime, a dispute has been opened with my bank. Do not purchase from this company!!! I have now bought a cover half the price and 3 times the quality.

Removing Restocking Fee????

Ok, the restocking fee was Removed. What does this have to do with the complaint of the person that paid shipping and restocking fees. It sounded as if you still charged restocking fees and refused to refund. Also if a product is not as described in the add, such as zippers, tripple layer, tiedowns etc. there should be a complete refund, including shipping. You mislead the person and misrepresented your product.

  • Just received this late updated response that company removed restocking fees but they did not contact us with complaint or try to resolve. We are still out the $30 in shipping fees plus restock fees. We own 5 vehicles and after much research online thought this company was good but car cover ordered was not like described and was for husbands gift. Since company is not offering credit or any resolution we will no longer shop with them. Traci
