I July 2006 I ordered the complete DVD set of The Untouchables starring Robert Stack. There were many DVDs. At the same time I also ordered the complete set of Get Smart starring Don Adams. Likewise, there were many DVDs in the set.

When it got to September 1st and I still hadn't received my merchandise, I called the company. There phone number was on my Citi Card statement which showed it was paid to them on July 28, 2006 the amoount of $379.98.

They asked for my name, phone number and order number, which I left on the message center. I never heard from them. I have been calling them once a day and then twice a day, and on Sept. 11th I emailed them. No response ever. Customer service operators are always busy, they say.

Notified Citi Card this morning, Sept. 12, 2006 and they are filing whatever they do, and are giving me a "conditional" refund at this time.

Citi Group told me to go ahead with this Rip Off Report, which I am trying to do.

From what I have read on the Rip Off site, this firm is doing bad things in the world and should be arrested and put out of business because of their fraud.

The same thing happened to my mom...

My dad is a big fan of the TV series Coach, so she order the DVD set for the entire series form this website for a Christmas present. She ordered it in November when she was told it was in stock. They charged the credit card right away.

On the Monday before Christmas, she reluctantly agreed to pay an additional $36 for expedited shipping for a pre-Christmas delivery. As of today, it still hasn't arrived despite their email earlier this week that it had shipped.

By the way, the advertise UPS shipping on their website. However, they supposedly sent it via mail from Canada instead.

Always use a credit card when purchasing items from a website. If your merhchandise doesn't arrive, the credit card company can reverse the charges. My mom was able to get the charges off of her account.

Mark ...

I am also in the same predicament as you. I did some searching and found out that the phone number they give: (514) 827-3837 is a Cell Phone!
It's no wonder they don't return our calls, as there is, apparently, no physical office, no "busy operators" at least in the plural sense as it would be impossible on one cell phone!

My Credit Card payment went to:
Garcia Media Group, Inc.
5764 Monkland
Montreal, QC H4A1E9
A search of that business name in Montreal turns up nothing. There is, however a "Groupe Garcia Media", whether or not the same outfit, but there is at least a land line for them - (514) 937-6758, which I might try.

Wishing you the best of luck in getting your money back ... I am only out $92(US) which is bad enough.
