Employee Sarah E. Schrader, Enterprise Rent A Car, Boston ripoff gave us a compact instead of the intermediatte that we booked, were charged, tried to persuade us it was intermediate Ripoff Boston Massachusetts
We rented a car through Enterprise for the 4th of July holiday. We booked an intermediate car at a discounted rate offered on their web site. When we went to pick up the car at their location on 1 Congress St. in Boston, we were given a Dodge Neon (at a rate that was previously agreed on the intermediate car). When I expressed my surprise that the a Dodge Neon is considered as an intermediate car, I was given a lenghty explanation by the employee Sarah E. Schrader that yes, indeed it is and also that I can not use my MGH discount because it would cost me more. I have rented a lot in the past and this raised my suuspicions that grew as we drove the car and it became obvious it was quite basic. When we went to return it, another employee was there and I checked how the cars are rated. It did not surprise me much to see that Dodge Neon was a compact car. I pointed that out to the other employee (William h*o) and he was very kind and offered to us a discount to make up for it. Even though at the end we wnded up not gettting ripped off that much, still the attitude of Sarah Schrader left a bitter taste in my mouth and ruined the memories of a nice and well deserved holiday. The worst thing is as I discovered, she is a manager at that location. She does not deserve that position and should be removed from there before other people start pilling up complaints (and I am sure they will).
