My 17yr old daughter recieved a free download card from a school function and ask me if she could sign up...I said yes(not knowing you had to be 18)when she went to register it ask her for a credit card so I handed her mine on the grounds that she cancel before the 30-day trial.

I didn't find out until Feb of 08 that emusic had been charging my card since Oct. 07 9.99 each month. I ask my daughter about it and she said she was never able to get on so she thought that she had not registered. I told her to go into her account and send an email as to what happened and ask them to refund the money as that you never were able to sign in. She did and got a computer generated letter stating that they would be in touch in a few days.

First I called the number on my statement only to find that of the 3 options all of them sent you to the web site to cancel or send an email to customer support. I sent emails, searched the site for a phone number to speek with a human being but I couldn't find one. I am so angry we have sent cancelation emails for the last two months and still they bill/debit my credit card. I'm not around $70 paying for nothing. I went tonight on the web site into the message boards and found a blog were this person put a link to a phone number for corprate office. It is (212) 201-9240 thank you who ever you are.

I will be calling in the morning of course they will probably be closed as that it is Saturday tomorrow. I will try any way. I am sorry but if this company was on the up and up there would be live customer support, phone numbers addresses all over the place, your site does.

Your "employee" suggestion is from just another SLEEZE-BAG!

In previous reports about emusic, an "employee" suggested sending an email to their customer service. I have sent 5 emails, and they won't respond.

This same "employee" suggested calling emusic and offered the following URL:
http://www.emusic.com/about/contact/office.html

If you call the numbers listed, you get a recorded message saying that all their electronic voicemail boxes are full. If you call customer service number directly, you are told that emusic doesn't current "support live customer service."

In other words, they take your money in a fraud, and then there isn't even a way to complain about it, or ask for a refund.

These folks are SLEEZE-BAGS and should be avoided!

Contact information?

An "employee" gave contact information via email and long distance telephone. BUT, emusic doesn't answer email complaints, won't refund money that they billed fraudulently, and when they do a bait and switch ("free" trial membership is actually a full membership which you get charged for)...they don't answer emails satisfactorily.

As for the phone number? Well, not only do the bill me fraudulently, but then I have to pay for the phone call? Not everyone has unlimited long distance.

If you're an "employee" then why not just quit defrauding people, then we wouldn't need to go through so much hassle just to get $10 back (which we'll never see again!)
