Encore Dance Center Encore Dance Studio paid for pointe classes and they did not teach my child pointe Internet
My daughter attended Encore Dance Center and was to be taught pointe. She was never taught pointe in the two years she attended there. First year, the instructor stated that the other parents were upset over the cost of pointe shoes and that was the reason. The second year, we were told she would be taking pointe instruction but she never received it.
When I contacted Alvina Kline, the owner/manager, she stated rudely that it was my daughters fault...that she wasn't good enough to do pointe. The payment was to TEACH her how to do it safely and correctly. At this time she isn't safe or correct becasue they did not teach her at all.
Now, they refuse to allow her to attend this year (of course, not taking ballet and pointe- only jazz and modern classes). They state that since we contacted the BBB we are not allowed back to Encore.
