LISTEN HERE sHILO!!!!! DONT YOU GO KISSING AS**WITH THE CEO BY SAYING THAT EVERYONE HAS BEEN GETTING PAID BECUASE EVERYONE HASNT BEEN GETTING PAID FYI. MABYE YOUR LAS VEGAS OFFICE IS GETTING PAID BUT YOU DONT REALLY MAKE ANY MONEY EITHER. EVERYONE WHO HAS MADE A NICE CHUNK OF MONEY FROM ENCORE HAS NOT HAD THERE COMMISSIONS PAID AND ARE STILL BEING COXED INTO WORKING FOR THEM WHILE NOT RECEIVING CHECKS.

ALSO ENCORE'S LA OFFICE JUST HAD IST DIRECTOR MONIQUE FERNANDEZ WALK OUT BECAUSE THEY EVEN REFUSED TO PAY HERE COMMISSIONS ON THE PEOPLE THAT THEY HAVE BEEN PAYING SO FAR. WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS BECUASE THEY HAVE A NEW PROCESS WHICH REQUIRES THAT EVERY BUSINESS THAT THE REPS SIGN UP HAVE A VERIFICATION FROM EITHER A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, A BILL, DWP STATEMENT, AND/OR A VOIDED CHECK. sO HOW MUCH CAN YOU ASK FOR TO PROVE THAT THERE IS NO FRAUD GOING ON??? WELL WELL WELL, SO NOW YOU ARE REALLY JUST F*****G YOUR EMPLOYEES AND REPS AND BEATING THEM OUT OF THERE MONEY ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.

RUSS BRANDON, IF YOU COULD PLEASE EMAIL ME I'D LIKE TO SPEAK WITH YOU. I NEED SOME ADVICE BECUASE NOT ONLY HAVE THEY MADE US PROVE THAT IT IS NOT FRAUD BUT THEY ARE STILL TAKING OUR MONEY, AND THIS TIME BOLDLY.

ENCORE SLOGAN, " WE'LL PAY YOU FOR THREE MONTHS AND TURN AROUND AND FIRE YOU FOR NO REASON THEN D**k YOU FOR YOUR LIFE SAVINGS."

Apparently, you were the beneficiary of all the nonsense the East Coast offices had to endure. I am not quetioning your experiences with Encore, but understand that those who came before you had to put up with fraud, missing payroll, incorrect payroll, and more fraud perpetrated by Craig, Angelo, and the rest.

So while you were making money, bear in mind that a lot of people got screwed, ripped off, lied to, or other acts , commissions, and omissions that can be classified as "fraud."

Look at the sheer number of complaints against Encore. They weren't just from one or two reps, they were from managers and customers. This is evidence of how Encore's business model tolerated and even fostered fraud. Finally, read the pleadings in Idearc's lawsuit against Encore, especially the portions clearly outlining Encore's business model as it pertains to obtaining the sales numbers.

Idearc is suing for well over $10,000,000.00, and the are using Akins Gump as their counselors.

I'm not going to argue experiences, for we have far different opinions. I ask that you respect what I and a number of others went through.

Not Fired ~ Still In Las Vegas

#6UPDATE EX-employee responds

Tue, July 15, 2008

Russ, I am still in Las Vegas and still very happy and making money in sales as before. My post are the same as they always have been. I'm not quite sure why they are showing up different. Anyways my story is still the same I never got ripped off and while I was with Encore I made great money. Nothing has changed in my opinion. I got in did what I had to do and moved on with no complaints. Granted I worked alot of hours but got paid very well for it.

I'm not saying what everyone else is saying isn't true i'm only saying I worked for the company and never ran into the problems.

I believe you worked on a different campaign so it sounds as if there were different guidelines. On the Verizon campaign we were going out to sign up a customer for a online yellowpage ad, It was a 6 month campaign, with no up front billing and it included a website. The rates ranged from $130 - $500 and the reps were paid 90% of the 1st month. Out of Yellowpages Verizon is one of the best online so it was an easy sale. There was no customer service, no nothing, you called in the order and Verizon or Idearc Media took over the rest. SIMPLE!

It looks like Verizon / Idearc Media was paying Encore and Encore was paying the reps (in the beginning on this campaign everyone that worked was getting paid) then when Idearc was invoicing the clients they were finding out the accounts never existed. This is what prompted the newest commision structure of being paid a percentage upon signing and the balance when account paid. This also prompted more account verification from business's because Idearc media was losing out on money.

Think about it from a business owner's stand point it makes sense. Now if you look at it Idearc Media is suing Encore Marketing. All of the fraudulent accounts that reps they were hiring signed up and they didn't verify has only bit them in the rear and they have some serious charges against them.

Now I do believe if the accounts can verify then you or whoever brought in the account should definitely be paid no matter what campaign it was on. But if you read all of the threads this is not the entire case.

To: "Shilo"

I see you are posting from San Diego. Does this mean you closed the LV NV office, or were you let go or were you fired?

Check the business model of Encore. They wanted quantity, not quality.

Their business model is clearly written on their Responses and Affirmative Defense in the pending lawsuit filed in the District Court, N.D. Texas.

Based on how Encore was paid, Encore's focus was on having many people selling. So your claim of "quality-not quantity" ran against the business model Encore provided to their potential clients.

The OP didn't "call you out" - he merely responded to your claims which, at the time, were contrary to other people's experiences with Encore.

So, please prove or disprove the statements alleged to.

I'm replying to a post that included my name. You called me out and don't know anything about me. I'm not kissing no one's A** especially not any CEO. What I stated was I never got ripped off for any money nor did any of the reps that worked underneath me while I was there as the Director Of Sales for the Las Vegas office. All of our deals were verified therefore we got paid for them.

I've been reading the stories on this company and most of the complaints are the way Encore did business. Complaints about the ad being misrepresented etc. They placed the ad however it was up to the sales director to put the truth out there during the interview process. Maybe that's why the Las Vegas office never had more than 20 reps. or maybe that's why your claiming the Las Vegas office didn't make that much money. I believe in quality not quantity. I as a sales director told the truth, I explained how the job was paid, stated it was commission only, and stated that if they wanted to make any real money they would be working there a**'s off to get it. The ones that stayed did and the ones that didn't stay the best of luck.

Any of the reps in my office that didn't get paid there $300 bonus was because they weren't out working. You can't expect to check in in the morning, go home for the day then expect to collect money.. What I was saying is if you expect to make that kind of money in commission sales you better be prepared to work for it.

Now to further comment on any stories I read the one from Atlanta and I trained in that office and went out in the field with Saban. He I believe has a valid story and was with Encore for a long time. He made a ton of money there as well. But if you read his story he's not claiming the ad is wrong or anything else.

I also am aware of some reps in the Atlanta office purchasing METRO phones and signing up fraudulent accounts that they weren't getting paid on. Encore was paying commission on these accounts and weren't collecting in return because the accounts never existed. Think about it, if you could collect 90% on a $500.00 account it's worth paying the $45.00 for the temporary cell phone. This is what prompted the new commission structure and the new verification system. I can't say that I blame them.

If your accounts are legit I wish you all the best in collecting your money from Encore.

Pass The Word

To all the folks around the country-I sympathize with your aggravation and loss. Pass the word around that Encore's just one step above Scentura and 1000 steps below any legitimate sales organization.

Tell your friends, your families, even your enemies to avoid Encore, no matter how desparate they are for employment.

They're still advertising in Mississippi, despite my letter to the classified manager of the local newspaper.

A warning to everyone-DO NOT WORK FOR ENCORE!
