My son and his friend worked for 2 weeks EVERY day...8 and 9 hour days.....and because they couldnt MAKE people buy or upgrade....Were told that they werent getting a check...They were promised a $400 check on the 24th of March by their manager/supervisor.....No matter what...I even questioned it and was told that no matter what...they would get a check...Spoke with Mr. Sampel and of course...He says that the "contract" they signed says blah blah blah...I dont care!!! They were promised a check!
My son brought home his newborn son on the 24th expecting a check to pay his rent and is now....getting evicted with a newborn child!!! This man is a scammer...i believe that these managers get some kind of commission on hires so they tell these kids whatever they want to hear to reel them in! Its ridiculous...A week into it my son came over and said he had a bad bad feeling about this company because that day a guy from Omaha Nebraska had walked out because they also owed him...Hed been working for 2 months and recieved ONE check....I mean CMON people!!!! How can they do this to people in the middle of a dam recession? Its disgusting! These people are representing QWEST COMMUNICATIONS I wonder if they even know this type of crap is going on....I certainly hope that someone shuts Craig Sampel down soon, He is a greedy, lying and terrible man for what hes doing to people!!! When I told him about my son havin a newborn and being evicted....He said it wasnt his problem....WOW.....What a good man there....Hes a PUKE!

First - a fact check..
It's Craig Stapel, not Sampel.
There is a contract which all reps sign.
Your son signed it.
Now to a reality check...
For three years numerous people have posted about Encore Marketing. I'm truly empathetic to you and your son's plight. I was a Sales Director and my story has been posted of RoR.
Encore has scammed people since its inception. Good times, bad times, they are 1 step above Scentura and 1000 steps below a legitimate sales organization. Numerous shills have tried to defend Encore, only to be blasted into silence by the overwhelming voice of former reps and managers.
Tell your son it wasn't his fault. Craig Stapel is a master of lies and deception and your son get hooked into Craig's net of deceit.
Tell everyone in Iowa - friends, family, even enemies - not to respond to any ad or sales rep of Craig Stapel/Encore. If the pool of applicants dries up, Encore's operations dry up.
Still don't believe me, read the pleadings in the federal lawsuit against Encore. His business model is clearly written out. Encore needs bodies - lots of bodies - to exist.
As always, I invite any Encore troll, shill, or "employee" to challenge any statement made.
