On September 25, 2007 I was solicited by Mr. Michael Jones of Vespa Bankcard to change the credit card processing provider for my gift shop to Encore Payment Systems. The agreement signed provided that there was to be no deconversion fee if the agreement was recinded within 60 days of the date of the application.
On November 10, 2007 when this company provided no customer support from 8pm Friday night until 8am Monday morning and and were charging fees and rates well beyond what I was previously paying, I sent a fax cancelling the service and followed up with a call on Monday requesting a call tag to return the pinpad. A $250.00 doconversion fee was deducted from my account on November 14, 2007 .
When I called to question the fraudlient deduction, I was informed that I had no 60day free recind since I had accepted their pinpad. What a scam! And the best part is that Vespa Bankcard is now denying Mr. Jones as one of their Employees

Hello. I read your problem with Encore. I too am having a problem with them, but have gotten them to pay me back the money they illegally took out of my checking account. One for the annual fee which was crossed off my contract, the other for a cancellation fee, which I did cancel, but it was after they breached the contract. I have contacted many people in regards to this, turning in complaints to several companys as they committed an illegal act by falsifying my contract. They faxed me a copy of "a contract" they claim I signed, but I have the carbon copy and it is NOT the same as the contract they faxed. I am pursuing this on a legal extinct and am trying to find people that have the same problem as I. If you could contact me at rosemack1 at hotmail dot com... I would appreciate it.
