I opened an Endurance Car Warranty on November 27, 2021.  Initially I was very skeptical about car warranties.  I researched three other competitors and read online reviews concerning car warranties in general.  I thought Endurance would be a good fit for my 2013 Chevrolet Impala, but I was disappointed.

I met the claim requirements (30 days and over 1000 miles driven). On January 4, 2022, I had an oil change and maintenance checkup at Classic Chevrolet Service Center in Sugar Land, Texas.  The Chevrolet dealership found some items that needed repair.  The service manager and I reviewed the policy and called Endurance’s claim department.  The items needing repair:

·         Air condition blower motor – Listed as covered in Section VI page 12 of 35

·         ABS Traction control – Listed as covered in Section VI page 11 of 35

·         Door Actuators – Listed as covered in Section VI page 12 of 35

After reading my warranty, these items should have been covered, but the claim was denied.

I requested a written denial letter and the representative stated, “they don’t give written reasons why they turn down claims…just verbal”.  That response seemed odd and evasive. Most insurance companies will at least give you a written reason why your claim was denied.  I felt like Endurance contract was difficulty to read and their claims services was not customer oriented.  They didn’t attempt to help me or address my concerns with my repairs.

I was skeptical in getting a car warranty policy, but now my suspicions have been confirmed.  I will never deal with Endurance again and I think consumers need to be warned.
