Watch for Endurance deceitful sales tactics. It started with trying to get a quote online. It leads you through the website telling you to finally click to get quote and when you do it says someone will contact you with a quote. The person calls and tells you that the warranty price they are offering is only available on the first call and that if you disconnect that you will have to pay retail.

Retail they said was $964 but if I paid right then and there over the phone it would be dropped to $264.70 and month payments of 18 months of 132.64. If I disconnected and tried later (I asked about this) then it would be 132.64 for 6 years even though the warranty was only 5 years long and the full $964 would be due at the start. Most of these companies prices are similar but this absurd and a Lie!

Another thing: Mark E claims the sales men do not get paid on commission, Right. As aggressive as they are they do this for their $8/ hr rate.

Another lie: Alex B made the ridiculous claim that they are the only ones certified with Audi for payments and that they will not accept other warranty services that are certified. After fishing a little he finally said there are actually 10 companies that were certified....right. He then made the claim theirs was the best because they are the only ones who had an A+ rating of certification . This is absurd because of the fact the A+ rating is with the BBB not with Audi.

A Big push was about their A+ rating with the BBB - something they promote strongly. The BBB is a company. When BBB came under a new president just a couple years ago, changes were made which allowed companies to wipe slates clean and now pay to keep them clean by certifications. If you look up the ratings from before the change, they had terrible ratings and were even suspended their BBB referral due to investigation that turned out against Endurance.

Lastly, (there is more but I will stop with this one) they are certified members of the vehicle protection association. Don't let them fool you with this one. All of these companies under this "umbrella of protection" operate the same and are simply brokers for other companies. This VPA is not actually an independent organization. If you don't believe this, look up the companies from their website: oddly similar aren't they?

Don't fall for this company - they will push you with the first time caller pitch which is just to pressure you. They keep making exceptions, granted by the manager. For me this exception carried for almost a week until I stopped talking to them and out of curiosity when I talked to them three months later they had no idea I was not a first time caller and offered me the same deal. And, ( I know I said I was done but had to mention this) some of the reps there will claim they are from a certain department, mine was the manager of Audi warranties department, this is a lie as well.

Immediate Manager Follow up - Nathan provided great support

After my report here I received a phone call within an hour or two from the Sales manager. Nathan was very respectful, sympathetic and reassuring about his sales staff. The immediate response showed a genuine desire to make sure the company name was protected and no excuses were made for the sales members. He showed great confidence in Endurance as a company and disdain for the shady tactics used by the sales reps. He was apologetic and was willing to address each issue individually. If all sales staff could mirror commitment of the manager the group as a whole will be improved.

Also, it must be said for Mark E, in retrospect that his was very kind and his pushiness was no more than any other salesman out there. The only thing I could say about him was his comment about no commission, to which there was no great emphasis placed on that point.

Having an A+ rating with the BBB is not a good thing, but still not something I would make my decision off of.

By the way, Endurance did not ask me to amend/ update this, and they did not give any benefit or even a warranty. I updated this because I believe that Alex is a bad seed in his company and one that Endurance is now addressing to continue to grow as company.
