I have paid 4k on a 10k loan. Currently my balance is 9,277. This loan agency is a rip-off!

So when you signed the agreement what were the terms? What is the Interest Rate? What is the length of the Loan? How many payments have you made and how much is each payment? Have you ever been late?
Are the terms any different than the ones you agreed to?

It's quite obvious you know nothing about finance otherwise you wouldn't be whining about something which is as obvious as the rising of the sun. In nearly ALL loans, in every state of the Union, interest is ALWAYS paid down FIRST. It's called "AMORTIZATION".
As time goes on, more and more of your payment goes to principal! There is nothing illegal, immoral or unethical about this and has ZERO BEARING on anything. If you knew anything about finance, you would know you pay interest and principal with each payment.
When you make all the payments, you paid all amounts of both! Therefore, it makes absolutely ZERO DIFFERENCE what is paid first other than for somebody who knows nothing about finance to complain about absolutely nothing!!!
