I was sold a "totally rebuilt" as per their ad on Ebay as follows:
Our Remanufactured Engines are the closest thing to a brand new engine on the market. All come with zero miles and all the parts are sent through the machining process with the help of our licensed professionals, to be ready for assembly. All parts are brand-new OEM parts and provide the customer with a revitalized driving experience. All engines are sold with a 2 year unlimited mile warranty, and the remaining gaskets necessary to complete the installation.”
Unfortunately, it only lasted 6 mos. and it was of the opinion of our mechanic that the engine was not rebuilt as represented and the 2 year unlimited mile warranty was useless since they have since sold the company and are not liable for any of their debts, lawsuits, or warranty claims, etc. I have a feeling this is a common practice in order to avoid honoring their defective engines.
