Enhanced Services Billing, Inc. Continues to Steal from AT&T's customers and AT&T helps them do it! San Antonio Texas
My phone bill had a $14.95 charge on it this month from a company identified as Enhanced Services Billing. I've never heard of this "company" until now, had never contacted them for services, and receive no services or products from them. However, AT&T is enabling this company to steal money from me. While I do remember receiving an email regarding this service that they alleged I requested, this email was not distinguishable from any other scam email and only provided a "button" link response that EVERYONE knows you can't hit if you don't recognize the sender without the potential to infect your computer with a virus or something equally as icky. Besides I had never contacted them and NEVER WOULD and had no reason to believe they were legitimate.
It boggles my mind that this continues to happen and has been going on since at least 2001 when this "company" was ordered to stop this activity. And it further baffles me why AT&T would provide them with an avenue to perpetrate their fraudulent and illegal activities.
AT&T, what won't you do for a buck???
