Unauthorized charges on my AT&T bill from this company for a monthly maintenance fee of $14.95 to my home phone number under company contact number 800-286-4455. AT&T can not do much about this except to tell you to cancel service with company yourself and put a third party block on your phone line to prevent this in the future (this is a free service from AT&T).

Also had two other similiar companies on same statement doing the same thing under different names. Will be filing on them as well.

I believe that sometimes people can be signed up of things on the internet by someone other than themselves. But I also know for a fact that there are times when someone can sign up for something online and they just don't *want* to remember doing it. I'm one of those people. I've been on this site all day now reading about how this company Enhanced services something and dozens of other sites are "scamming" people. With all that I've read I think that in some way that may be true. I received a charge on my last telephone bill which I got for August. It was actually $24 more expensive than usual. I saw an Enhanced Service charge and then another one for coupons? I called AT&T and they told me there was nothing they could do to help me and they provided me a number for Enhanced Services. I waited on hold a little bit and then was transferred again. I had been on hold for about 10 minutes by then and I was really upset. I talked to a very nice girl who told me that my wife had filled out an order form over the internet and requested a 1-800 number. We both have cell phones so I don't know why she'd need that but I asked her anyway. My wife said, like I suspected, that she did not and got very upset. I told this to the girl who canceled it for me. I am one of those people who don't *want* to remember because I truly think my wife did sign up for this. She has a history of going online and signing up for things. Honestly, I find myself on the telephone with random companies every few months it seems and this is why she got so upset. She just denies it now. I know better though and though I love her very much, she is just very gullible. When you find yourself yelling at a customer service rep a few times a month... instead of assuming it's a scam maybe we should take the responsibility and stay off the internet. Wells Fargo (yes the bank) has over 1000 reports on this site. Compared to the like 63 this one has doesn't that make you think a little?
