I was searching the internet to find software for popup's and thought spyhunter was the and but in five min I could tell it was not for me and deleted it and sent an e-mail to the co asking for credit but heard nothing.
I think that they are making a killing on ripoff's.

Last year I signed up for the enigma spyware package, when it was downloaded it seemed to be fine. After a few days my computer was acting up and would not respond. I had restart my computer from scratch. I tried to get a refund but when I read the policy I knew that it would not happen. It stated that products purchased that are downloadable are NOT refundable. So I was stiffed and still had to pay the bill. Well now I know that I will always read the policy first.

Garland,

You said, "I think that they are making a killing on ripoff's."

That's a very unreasonable assumption and accusation. After all, YOU went to their web site and had the opportunity to READ their description of the software and what it was designed to do, which is to detect and eliminate spyware.

Yes, the description does mention that one indication of the presence of some spyware may be popup's. But the program clearly is not designed to eliminate general popup's. There are many FREE programs available on the Internet to perform that function.

Bottom Line: The company offered to sell a spyware detection and elimination program. You read their description and decided to make the purchase. The company then delivered exactly what it had offered for sale. YOU CHOSE to delete the program that you had just purchased. THAT IS YOUR MISTAKE AND YOUR PROBLEM!
