We received an invitation by mail to attend the "Travel Expo 2017." The advertisement included an offer to receive two free round trip airline tickets on all major carriers and a free two night stay at a Marriott hotel just for attending the promotion. Since we love to travel, we decided to find out what it was all about.

Consequently we attended what ended up being a travel presentation to get discount cruises, airfares, hotels, car rentals, etc. We were intrigued by the great deals they were offering to members since we travel a lot. I already knew the retail prices of many of the cruises, and the discounts they were offering were substantial. We were persuaded to purchase a membership after carefully reading the contract and making absolutely sure that there was a 3 day right of rescission to cancel which would give us time to research the company.

In writing in the contract, it stated they would NOT process our credit card payment until the 3 day rescission period had expired.

As soon as we got home, I got on the Internet and soon discovered that the membership program was NOT as presented (thank you, Rip Off Report!). As an example, other members reported that the $399 per week luxury condo came with an additional "surcharge" of up to $1500, which, unfortunately, they did not discover until they went to check in.

I immediately called my credit card company to make sure they would not process our payment. Imagine my surpise when I was informed by the credit card company that the payment had already been processed - LESS THAN TWO HOURS AFTER SIGNING THE CONTRACT! (The receipt we got for our credit card authorization even stated that this was a "preauthorization" only.)

Needless to say, we had the credit card company put a stop on disbursing payment and will be getting our money back. And we immediately notified Incompliance that we would be rescinding the contract via certified mail.

However, there were other couples in the promotion that were also signing up. They may not be as lucky in doing their research - there was literally nothing online about the company when you did a search for "Eye Travel" (which is the name they were using in the promotion and on their handouts) except for their company travel web site, http://eyetravel365.com/. I had to really dig through the contracts to figure out who the corporate entity really was. And with such a generic name on the contracts, Enterprise Company, it was a bit difficult to track down. It was only when I put in the name "Incompliance Services," that I was able to find anything out.
