Started internet service with them in 2000/2001, used the service for about three months, didn't like it. Couldn't get on line most of the time, when I did get on line, it was for short periods of time, tried to play games with friends online and would not be able to finish a game of spades or anything else, would get bumped off the service. Finally after putting up with this at $25.00 a month, for 3 or 4 months, with a promise that the service would improve, I finally called 248-651-5300, spoke with Harold/Howard, told him to take me off the service, he was sorry I was not happy with the service, and he would take me off. Ok, all well and good. It is now 2004 and I just discovered that EES is still taking money from my checking account electronicly. I called EES, got Amber, who looked up my account, and said I was still active. I told her no, Howard/Herald, took me off the service back in 2000/2001, she said I had had service since 2000/2001. I explained to her again, and she said I should talk to Howard/Herald about a refund. She gave me his cell phone number and said I should call him. I did, he informed me that Amber handled all refunds. Ok, I call Amber back and she says oh no, Howard/Herald would have to make the refund, since it would be so much. She was not authorized to make that large a refund. So I called Howard/Herald back and he says get a lawyer. Nice guy. Lets see who else he has ripped off. I wonder If Samaritan House in Washington, MI was ripped off as well. They do not use EES anymore.
