I arrived at the Enterprise Rental agency at 8:45 am and knew the office hours on Sunday were 9:00-3:00- There were approximately 5-6 cars waiting to return and 10-15 people waiting in the hot sun of Fort Lauderdale Fl waiting for the location to open.  The assistant manager Ken and other staff were there where I arrived, however, the manager with the keys was no where to be found.  Ken advised all of us that he contact her several times and she did not answer the phone- Ken advised that he did not have access to the building so he started taking the return vehicle's back and getting those customers out of the line.  It was almost 9:25 am and no information about the managers location so Ken advised that he would have his staff member drive us to another Enterprise location because everyone was getting up and very hot and angry that the manager was not there.I have done business at this location several times with the previous manager Scott which I understand is in the corporate offices now- He ran that location top notch and ensured that every customer was happy and treated that location like it was his own business.  This new manager appears not to lead by example, does not care about her job and her customers.  As a manager she should realize how many other auto rental offices are within 5 miles of her location.  When I arrived at the Enterprise location near the Ft Lauderdale Airport I was greeted by Nicole who listened to my concerns and ensured that every customer was taken care of promptly.  I asked her how long she has been with the company and she happily told me that she was in management training.  I could tell that she will be a huge asset as long with Ken to your company.  The manager at the location where I rented from should be but on a final warning or terminated. I understand that situations arise, however, she should of notified Ken in advance so he could of been prepared for her no show.  I will rent again from Enterprise-  It is sad to read the negative comments on the internet about Enterprise and how the company or the manager will only give 10% or 20% or an upgrade to a upset customer.  That works out to less than $25.00 compensation.  I hope this email is addressed by corporate and the district manager of this location.

I'm sorry but this customer sounds like a f**kin a*****e. The manager may have been involved in a serious car accident on the way to work or something similar and this selfish jackass has the audacity to file a report on here because he was hot for a few minutes? Unbelievable! The situation was resolve, he got his car, but I bet he didn't even think to call the location to find out the reason for the manager's no-show because that would be humanistic. Instead he rants and raves how the manager should be fired or on a final written. Investigate further before defaming a location you dumb a**.
