I am not surprised that others have had similar experiences.  I arrived at the Enterprise Philadelphia Airport location on a rainy day. I waited about 20 minutes to get a car. I declined their insurance since I am covered through my employer.  I often rent a car for business and no rental location has ever been so persistent about getting my insurance cards.

During the walk around, I couldn’t see much damage since it was dark and the car was black. The attendant told me they only look for anything bigger than a golf ball. I didn’t notice anything that big. When I went to return the car 2 days later, they reported that I made 2 dents. One of them was UNDER the front of the car. I could not even see the supposed dent in broad daylight. The other was at the door. It was about 1cm wide but taller than a golf ball. I had a flight to catch so I didn’t have time to argue with them. They couldn’t give me a damage report. They didn’t even know what that was. Despite that, they took 30 minutes to fill out some info on their system, causing me to nearly miss my flight. They charged $500 to my credit card for the damage deductible. I wouldn’t be surprised if they bill my insurance company much more for these supposed damages.

I have never had a bad experience with a car rental until I rented from Enterprise Philadelphia airport location. I will make sure I take photos during the walk around from now on (including under the car and on the roof). There are plenty of car rentals nearby. Don’t let Enterprise Philadelphia Airport scam you out of your money, time, and make you possibly miss your flight!
