Enterprise Rent A Car Price Gouging During Hurrican Dean Miami Florida
During the Hurricane Dean crisis I was forced to leave end my vacation early and had to get a rental car at Miami International Airport. I rented a car from Enterprise Rental Cars.
I rented a Ford Focus. It was almost all they had left. I was charged $64 a day for this car, plus numerous surcharges totalling $485 for 4 days!!
When I returned home from vacation I looked up Enterprises' rental rates. The same car I rented is advertised to rent for $21.69 a day.
This is price gouging. Taking advantage of stranded travelers during a crisis is unethical.
Numerous other travelers experienced the same problem. Companies like Enterprise should be called on the carpet for taking advantage of people during a crisis situation.

Send copies of all your paperwork and back up info from the net to Enterprise's corporate offices and the Florida state attorney general to get the ball rolling.
Good luck.
