Enterprise Rent A Car ripoff A Reservation does not mean a Reservation at Enterprise in Mankato Minnesota
I reserved a car at the Mankato, MN Enterprise Rent-a-Car last week. Two days in advance. I had a reservation number. I went to the counter the day I was renting and was told that they had NO cars. I needed to use this car at 9am in the morning. They told me that no cars would be available until 3pm. Totally unacceptable. She told me this happens all the time.
My advise, use a different rental agency.

Every rental car in the state and surrounding states, are being rented by every government agency on earth due to the bridge collapse. They all have to have a rental car at their disposal. I've seen it before. Thousands of gov. workers descend on a given location. Money is no object. The rental car places can rent out ALL the vehicles they can muster for top dollar for an unlimited amount of time at an unlimited price. It sucks for the rest of us. I refuse to rent from enterprise cause they ripped off my garage door opener after they admitted they had it and told me they would hold it and I could pick it up the next morning. enterprise bites.
