I have rented a car from Enterprise 3 times in all. There was no problem until my last rented vehicle, when we where invovled in a minor fender bender.

When I went in to fill out my paperwork I informed them as I always did that I wanted to take out the insurance so I can have the peace of mind of driving a different vehicle. I was told this would cost 10 extra dollars a day, of course I agreed and then signed where they asked me to sign.

This was a major relief since there were already pending claims on my own insurance. When I took this vehicle back to report the accident I was informed that the insurance I took out only covered their vehicle. I almost fell to the floor.

My complaint: Never once did any of the employees tell me about there full & partial coverage plan. Why would anyone take out partial coverage? This does not make sense to me.

There so called full coverage cost 20 dollars a day. AGAIN, this was never mentioned to me, if it was this is what I would have taken and not scammed into thinking I was fully covered by there 10 dollar a day coverage, which is what I thought they only had.

To top this all off now they went and reported their vehicle to my State Farm my insurance company, I know I bought coverage on their vehicle.

Need I say more. HELP.

Hard to believe, management want their employees to sell a full coverage package and the employees get rewarded for doing so

I used to work for this fine company for three years first in NY state and in PA. I know for a fact that She was sold the partial coverage only because she did not want to pay the additional fund for the additional coverage. I have worked in the Scranton area and I know that specifically that all leves of management want their employees to sell a full coverage package and the employees get rewarded for doing so. Also like Pat in the previous rebuttal, Any company would want to make more money, not less.

If you have rented 3 times from Enterprise it is almost impossible for me to believe that the company NEVER tried to sell you ALL of the insurance! They obviously make money on what they sell, the more the better! If you CHOSE to buy only Collision Damage Waiver to protect your deductible (the most common choice) WHY should they pay for your liability loss. Thats like buying a house and getting mad that your homeowners policy doesnt pay your medical bills.
