Incident
Filing complaint against Enterprise Rent A Car for fradulent/unauthorized billing of my debit card for expenses to be paid by Gillman Lincoln-Mercury in Rosenberg, Texas for car rental expenses incurred during repair of wrecked car.

TWICE my deit card has been debited for large dollar amounts without my notification. Enterprise Rent A Car felt they had the right to debit my account TWICE without notifying me that they were doing so for rental charges incurred during repairs from an accident. The most recent debit of $879.73 occurred on 11/27/03 at the Stafford Branch by Jay Keller, Branch Manager.

This is a major debit and quite unexpected since the costs were incurred in July/August. As you know debit card transactions are IMMEDIATE and something like this can totally wipe out a persons account. And also jeopardise one's credit. Jay Keller, branch manager in Stafford Texas said "Gillman Lincoln Mercury (Car Dealership)does not pay their bills timely". So Enterprise uses Gillman's clients as a pawn to collect from Gillman. THIS IS POOR CLIENT RELATIONS that they are building. Rental agreement D601089 Stafford Texas 281-498-7499. Could someone please assist me in obtaining the CREDIT I deserve. I would appreciate a prompt honest response.

Yes buddy, unfortunately, since you were the primary renter of the vehicle, and the dealership was merely agreeing to pay the balance, does not make you free from your unpaid balance. If you did not get involved regarding an unpaid bill, most likely, that office has every right, based on the rental agreement ticket you signed, to take payment from that card.
