Enterprise Rental Car New Milford, CT Reps lied about how I spoke to staff, said I swore at them. New Milford Connecticut
I tried to rent a car from this establishment.
At the time to pick up the vehicle, I was denied the right to rent the car. I was speaking to a polite member of the staff and going through the transaction when an older, bald man interrupted the younger staff member and took over the transaction - creating an awkward moment as he did not explain what he was doing. He asked me my age and then continued to ask questions in a manner of a very upset person, and continued to behave in this manner throughout the conversation.
I left without the rental for reasons which have to do with not having the proper insurance.
When I filed a complaint with the Enterprise office, I was put into contact with Chris, the head manager/supervisor. He was very polite and reassured me he would be getting back to me and would help me get the car I needed.
However, upon the next conversation I was told that I had swore at the staff.
I don't swear at people even over the phone, let alone in person. I attempted to provide what possible evidence I could by giving Chris the contact information for the people I was with at the time, several colleagues, however he did not want to do that, and reassured he did indeed believe me that my version of events was correct. He promised to get back to me and never did.
