Enterprise filed a false damage report for a car that was returned in exact prerental condition. At the conclusion of my trip my flight was scheduled to depart early so when I rented the vehicle the attendant instructed me to put the car keys in their drop box at the service desk. They told me they would then charge my credit card as agreed and that there would be nothing further needed from me. I would receive the receipt in the mail. My card was charged the rental fee as agreed in the contract.

Then one month later Enterprise sent me a bill for estimated costs for body work. Estimated cost of repair is $434.31. I know for a fact that the car was in perfect condition upon return of the vehicle. They are in Pittsburgh and I am in Atlanta. This is a complete fabrication. I of course did not know that they had a reputation for fabricating similar damages to others who had rented vehicles from their company.

I hope the insurance companies decline to insure Enterprise vehicles and put them out of business. I am guessing I will end up paying for the repair although I know with 100% certainty that I am not responsible. I feel so cheated.
