Entertainment Reward Scam Unauthorized monthly fee charged from online purchases you made with TicketMaster.com. Troy Michigan
If anything, TicketMaster should be mainly at fault. When I my bought tickets with them in November, i was charged a $10 fee from a similar Fraudulent site as Entertainment Rewards; Rservation Rewards (800-732-7031). The first rep that I spoke with at Entertainment Rewards, told me that I enrolled on TicketMaster.com by confirming my email address twice, and that the second time was for their program. I never had to do that, he was speaking to me as if I wasn't computer literate. He continued by saying that Ive been charged the $9 fee on Dec, Jan, & Feb., and that I had 60 days to request any refunds. Since I can obviously ask for my Jan refund, he said that he was unable to do that since the Jan month had "already closed".
When asked to speak with a supervisor, he told me that while he's transferring me, he'll refund the fee for February; I was put on hold for 53 minutes before I hung up.. I called back again; another rep was able to refund the fees from the previous months very quickly. Entertainment Rewards is obviously a scam who, without your authorization charges your card for a non full functioning program, and they are affiliated with TickeMaster. According to their site, they are also affiliated with; Expedia.com, Hotwire.com, Match.com, TicketWeb.com, chemistry.com, noisetap.com, cottonblend.com, and probably a lot more..
Be careful, and watch your statements carefully. I'm preparing the contact the Better Business Bureau now..
