EntirelyPets.com AKA Healthy Pets Shipped wrong product with no refund for price diference Internet

Obviously Entirely Pets is not the company I started doing business with almost 5 years ago. When I received the last order, the K9 Advantix II for small dogs had been substituted with K9 Advantix and there was no notification of the substitution even though I paid $12 more for the correct product. No message my account would be credited with the difference either. Did thecompany think I would not notice the difference and just let them keep the money?

I shot an email the day after I received the shipment but did not receive a reply by the next day so I took advantage of live chat. I spoke with Jose and we came to an agreement. "09:08:52 AM *[Jose]* You may use the one received if it is truly needed immediately, as it will help with fleas, ticks and mosquitoes. We can obviously reduce the price to what you actually received and discounted more for the inconvenience. 09:13:33 AM *[me]* Thank you. That is an acceptable compromise. It is unfortunate the order conformation did not notate that a substitute had been sent. Had I not been familiar with the products I might not have noticed the difference and overpaid. Please credit my account for the price difference and other discount."

Three days later I received an email asking for more information on the shipment. I sent the requested information with a definite demand the correct product not be shipped as I had had to use the substituted product. I included a copy of the chat agreement. The shipping department obviously can't read because three days later I received an email declaring reshipment. My reply to that email was also ignored and the following day I received shipment conformation for the unwanted shipment I repeatedly told them not to ship. That shipment was received last Saturday. I spent three days deciding whether to just keep the package and dare the company to charge me for it or to return it and sever relations with them.

I decided on the latter. When I called today for clarification what was to be done, I was told to use the return label and my account would be credited for the difference. No other discount for the aggravation and inconvenience as Jose offered just the difference in price. By law I could keep the package since I can document it was an unwanted shipment but I am more honest than their shipping and accounting departments. That is why I no longer want to do business with this company. I prefer giving my business to an honest company.
