After doing business with this company for over 5 years, a driver shook me down for extra cash by refusing to go get change, which they're required to do. He said he didn't have it, didn't have to carry it, I told him to go get some and he refused. I told him I'd be reporting him. He shrugged and walked away with a $9 tip. I called a number that doesn't ring and asked that they call me back, so we could settle this peacefully. They didn't comply. I contacted them through their "Don't call us, we'll call you" email service asking for at least an explanation of terms.

They didn't comply. I called in the BBB, after several attempts by even them, they finally gave this answer. "Our drivers are all contract employees and we do not make policy for them to carry change. If a customer needs change, the customer needs to ask for change, and all of the drivers have been instructed to go to the nearest convenience store and get the customer change. In this case, the customer DID NOT ask for any change."

That is a complete fallacy, as asking for change is what brought about this entire ordeal. The BBB, in their infinite stupidity, saw fit to call this a good faith attempt to please the customer. This was a complete blow off. I called the restaurant in question and was informed this is a very common occurrence with this business, and that when a card is involved, there have been many cases of drivers stealing the card number and using it erroneously.

I'm scheduled to talk to the gm of said restaurant tomorrow, I'll then be getting in touch with every company they deliver for, and I'll then be calling my attorney. This is no longer about $9, this is about principle. This shady, impossible to reach company employs criminals and backs them 100% when they shake down customers and engage in identity theft. They need to be run out of business and then out of town. Use at your own considerable risk.
