I had been using this company for over a year, I never realized how my credit card was being compromised until I had received a new card and only used it for this company. And 2 days later I had over 300.00 charged for diapers.com? I was able to get my money back and filed a police report. When I talked to the owner about this, he told me that there was no way it could be anyone at his company. Looking over my reciepts for filing purposes I noticed that this company was overcharging almost a dollar for the restaurants menu items. On a 50 dollar order I was charged 67.00, wow. When I asked the owner again about this he told me that the businesses asked him to charged more for their items. This was not true because I asked one of the business owners and she told me that they never asked John to charge over any amount from their menus.

This company never provides you a receipt for your charges and will cancel your order if you ask for one. The owner is not a friendly person, and will simply cut you off if you even question what he is doing. When I went back to advise him I talked to the business and they never asked him to do that, he said, well how do you think I am supposed to make money? They charge you "4.95" to deliver but it always ends up being more when they charge you. Beware of this company. I have filed with the BBB in an effort to do something more about it. I will update when I get feedback.

Lapse of memory I guess??

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, March 23, 2015

I am the owner of the above mentioned business and am amazed at how this person's memory has failed.  First of all, prior to 3/21, you had never contacted me about $300 worth of charges on your credit card to Diapers.com, or any other company.  If you actually have a police report naming my business as the guilty party, please provide it or, even post it on this site for everyone to see.  Please do not post a hand written one saying you only used it to order food from Entrees Delivered. Make it the official DPD Copy charging me or any of my employees for using your card and, show a copy of the credit card statement only showing charges to my business.

I see your memory has failed again on the amount of your order.  the amount was $55.43, and you typed in the comment section to make it a combo, drink $1.95, fries $2.50.  The total now with our delivery fee and tax is $60.17.  As it states right on the front of our delivery web homepage.  "Orders over $50 will have a 15% gratuity added to them".  So, when you checked that little blue box at the very end before you sent your order, you agreed to ALL the terms and conditions.  So, now we have the order total at $60.17 and the 15% gratuity on the food total prior to tax and delivery fee, $7.28, grand total $67.45, which was what your credit card was authorized for.

Looking at your hstory with us, your first order was placed on 2/11/13 from Fuddruckers, 2 kids meals, both with cheeseburgers and fries, american cheese, oatmeal raisin cookies, 1 sprite and 1 dr pepper.  Again, that memory of yours?? You stated you had only been using our service for 1 year.  If my calculations are correct, 2/11/13 is actually 2 years a month and 10 days, February only being 28 days.

When you called and started accusing me and my employees of overcharging you and calling us thieves and liars, I explained the charges in detail.  It was then you went on about how we have always overcharged and that we stole your crdit card and bought $300 dollars worth of diapers.  My wife and i have kids, the youngest being 9 and the oldest 21. Diapers aren't our thing!

As for the receipts, funny you say we dont offer them.  I have your signature on the DOUBLE sided receipt we hand out dated 3/17/15, just 4 days prior to this issue.  If we are thieves, criminals and liars, why have you ordered using the exact same credit card number 3 to 4 times a month since, 11/21/13.  Prior to that, you paid cash with a few credit card payments in between.  I had my number used over Christmas this last year and, the year before.  Both times my credit card company changed the number when I was sent a new one.  If you got a different credit card just for us, why is the number the same for your last 31 delivery orders placed with us over the last 14 months?

For anyone reading this post from the young lady above, she has used us for over 2 years now and our platform for ordering and our fees have been the same.  Actually have been the same since December of 2008.  Every 3rd party delivery service charges delivery fees and adds to certain restaurants pricing to make up for the fee we are paid.  This is set by the restaurant owner, or manager, not Entrees Delivered.  She DID NOT talk to any of the owners of the restaurants we deliver for, I personally talked to each one, plus the owner of the restaurant she ordered from.  Every restaurant we deliver for has been a client for at least 5 years, 75% of them for 8 or more.

Deliver Me Denton, Terms and Conditions: $5 delivery fee and 25% added to the total check.

Greedi Inc: $5 delivery fee, prices vary from .40 cents to $2 higher than what the restaurant charges per item than if you eat in house.

Our delivery fee goes to our drivers, 100% of it plus whatever tip our guests give them.  They are all contracted drivers who use their own vehicle and pay for their own gas and maintenence on per said vehicle.  Do the math, in some cases they dont make minimum wage.  We have been here for over 11 years now and have never had any issues with over charging and for sure never been accused of stealing credit cards.  I have terminated drivers over the last 11 years for not having change, being rude to guests and, not wearing what I consider a proper delivery uniform.

We have been here for over 11 years and will be here over 11 more because of your loyalty to us, and ours to you!

EAT OUT... IN
