In early January my husband and I recieved a knock on the door and it was again one of those pushy magazine salesman who are always young and totally unprofessional that call themselfs EAA. I told him that we were not interested and that we didnt want them to come to the door anymore. He told me that if I purchased a magazine subscription from him that he could place a sticker on my door that way no one else would bother me.

That sounded rather appealing to me, and I figured I could use a subscription to Car and Driver so I went ahead and cut him a check for 55.00 after a whole bunch of talking from him about the children he has back at home and the fact that he was sending all of his money back to his kids. (which I doubt that he had)

We really felt good about helping him out with his points, you see he told me and my husband that we would be able to cancell the subscription the next day and the company would just never cash our check, but he would still get his points.

Well the next morning I went ahead and called the company in order to cancel my subscription. I called 5 days in a row and faxed a cancellation request along with my original receipt to the "company" and recieved no response, and of course they did cash my check. Here I am 4 months later out 55.00 (which we really need at this point) and with no Magazines!

What a rip-off!!
