Yep, I fell for it too. I should have seen it coming, but with a screaming baby fighting a nap in the background, I was not on my game. A "nice" chap by the name of Jeremy Kantor, if that is his real name, representing PMA, Inc. and Entrepreneurs Across America scammed me out of $42 for a subscription to Child magazine. Same story about trying to win a contest to further his career, blah, blah. I'm used to the high school kids selling stuff for school or church fundraisers that I didn't really think this one through.

Just as the others have stated in their reports, I have not received my magazine, which I ordered in May and it is now nearly November, my check cleared a long time ago, and no one answers the phone at 940-565-1000 and there are no "clickable" links on their website for customer service.

Next time, do me a favor, Jeremy. Just say, "Hey, I need some money. Can I have $42?" It would be a lot easier on everyone. You could skip the speech and I could maybe get my kid to take a nap.

Now I get the fun job of placing a fraud alert on my bank account, changing all of my account information and continue to wonder how to get my child to actually take a nap without a temper tantrum.

I wonder if the magazines they have in their brochures could get them on copyright infringement? I'd gladly pay the $42 to see that those SOBs get what's coming to them.
