I bought a 2 year subscription to a magazine over 6 months ago. I had to send them 3 emails (info@thanksforthepoints.com) and threatening to contact the Better Business Bureau before they finally responded.

The only contact they ever made was to ask for info from the receipt--I'm still waiting for their follow up after I provided that info (they're hoping you didn't keep the receipt because they claim they can't investigate unless you have every piece of info they need from the receipt).

Just don't buy from them--they tack $10 charge on to every order--claiming it's for shipping and processing--but all magazine companies selling subscriptions (whether to you or through a third party) always include shipping in the price. They had 4 email addresses on their website (www.thanksforthepoints.com) when I went there last week, I sent an email to each address--the next week only the info@thanksforthepoints.com address is there, all the other ones have been taken off the site.

Also, don't let them give you a line about their not being responsible for the people in the field selling magazines on their behalf because those people are 'independent contractors'--legally, if EAA contracts with these high school kids to sell magazines then they are responsible for the actions of their contracted employees.
