Entrust Bankcard was at one time called "Paradigm Direct." I had the misfortune of signing on with them as my credit card merchant service company. I did so after meeting with Eric Karnesis, their Sacramento sales representative (my business is in Sacramento, CA). I am a trusting person, and trusting Mr. Karnesis cost me dearly. Not only was I charged much more than he promised, I found I had signed a 3-year lease for a hypercom credit card processor that had a retail value of $350.00 but which I was going to have to pay four thousand dollars for over the course of three years. The lease was managed by a company called MFB leasing company. I later discovered that MFB had horrible reviews as a major rippoff company. You can find them on Rippoff review.

I found Mr. Karnasis to be very deceptive. He actually did everything he could to divert my attention from the content of the leasing agreement while we were reviewing it. A so-called "Ex-employee: of Entrust wrote a rebuttal of another person's complaint which you will find with a little bit of exploration on this site. The rebuttal is false. Mr Karnasis is not loved by his customers. I was one of them. He simply deceives people into signing up and then disappears from sight.

I could never reach Mr Karnasis by phone after signing on. I was always directed to someone named "Jessica" in customer service. She was equally deceptive. When I complained about the higher processing rates, she blithely stated, "Oh, Eric must have made a mistake." My rates did then go down for two months, and then as though we had never had the conversation, they went up again. I cancelled their services. I had to pay $4000 to MFB to get out of the lease. When I googled for "Paradigm Direct" a year later, I found they had changed their name to Entrust. I went on their facebook page and recognized they had the same address and the same president as Paradigm Direct had had. I messaged them asking if they used to be called "Paradigm Direct" and got a return message from Jessica. I am not surprised Eric is still working for them. I'm sure he makes them a lot of money. Stay far away from them, and as far away from Eric as possible.

Interestingly, the facebook page of Entrust has been stripped of all of its content except the logo. Perhaps they are in the process of once-again changing their name.

Thes guys are professional fraudsters!!!! They lie to thier agents as much as they lie to thier merchants. I wouldn't be surprised if your agent thought he was truly helping your business. FYI thier Facebook page and website are closed becuase they did change the name once again to Mobi Squad.
