I responded to an add on  craigs list for a  sales position with a company called ENVIRONMENTAL MARKETING CONCEPTS they also go by emcaquapro out of thier local office in irving, tx. main office out of florida. we were told position was ether straight commision or $125 per week for gas plus $40 per competed presentation in a costomers home. we also were told that we needed to supply a 50oz conntainer of tide to give to each costomer with a completed presentation andwe would be reemburesed for the cost.and a commision there asking $6990 for the water softener wich is a complete RIPP OFF.

i worked one week at the end of the week i called the manager of the irving office austin and sayed this was not for me. i had completed 2 presentations gone to walmart and bought with my own money several containers of tide that i was supposed to be rembured for. $125 for the week of gas, $40 per presentation x 2 plus the cost of 2 tides equals $221. i am then told that i need to give2 weeks notice or i will not be payed. so they wont pay me the money i am out for gas for the week driving  from denton to justin far east dallas all over the metroplex. i have found that if a company ripps off its workers its going to do the same to its costomers. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

This disgruntled "employee" that filed the complaint was told up front that pay was dictated on proper notice and communication. This is in place because of the company's inherit sunk cost in providing the work, it would not be possible to recoup it without notice. This company has nothing but the best support for new recruits, and also gives everything up front in writing: All reps must give proper notice to receive their guaranteed pay. Its in very plain text, we have a signature from every trainee and go over it many times asking if anyone has any questions. In this specific case, even though this employee did not comply with company policy was still given compensation. All supplies are given to reps their first week, it is not requied of employess to purchase. Ever wonder why you hear more complaints out of certain people, its not a coincidence that they just "get the short end of the stick" more often, just that they like to complain. When no one listens, you go to the internet. This company provides a great product at a great price, and has very happy employees. Let's face it, not everyone can do every job, but that doesn't mean that you have to slander the company.
