Complaint Review: EP Marketing / Eddie Poirier

We run a clean business. And, yes, at times, certain people that you hire do questionable practices. But, swift action is taken! He has tried to extort monies from our company for himself and other related individuals. Below is a snapshot of an attorney letter that was sent to Mr. Poirier, which warned him of potential complications if he did not abandon his behavior. And, furthermore, a stalking charge has been filed against him for actions against our business, senior partner and relatives of said partner.

He attempts to further disparage this company with fraudulent claims and it must stop. His actions have prompted other people to follow his coattails. This is not a political election Mr. Poirier. The one thing that bothers this author is the tone and overall way he operates without heart and without appropriate licensing in Florida. It will be only a matter of time before he is caught and dealt with according to law.

Enough is enough! He needs to be reined in for his actions and unprofessional candor. How about distributing disparaging comments and flyers about our senior partner? That certainly took nerve. And, that was done at his home and at the office. The authorities are working the case. It will only be time! PS: Dont drop the soap!

And, your claims of owed monies are amazing, especially when receipts prove the contrary.

Dear Mr. Poirier,

This law firm has the pleasure of representing Peabody Research Corporation. Please be advised that if you don't cease and desist from harassing/contacting my client, by and behalf of yourself and Christopher Cruz, by contacting my client's clients, and contacting my client's business partners, I will instruct my client to file a lawsuit against you, Mr. Cruz and Beach Cruise & Travel LLC for defamation, tortious interference with contractual relationships, breach of contract and any and all other legal remedies that are available to my client.

It is unclear why you are now acting on Mr. Cruz's agent in harassing my client. However, you clearly are trying to extort money from it. I am well aware of Mr. Cruz's questionable business practices and you should refrain from any of the above referenced activities or you will be named as a defendant as well. As a corollary to the foregoing,  my client will also take legal action against you if you contact one of the senior partner's relatives. PLEASE GOVERN YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY.

SECOND LETTER FROM ATTORNEY

Mr. Poirier:

            You have threatened to report my client to the police.  Now you are making harassing phone calls to my clients father that is interfering with his ability to do his job.  The common thread in all of your actions appears to be desperation.  There does not appear to be any substance in any of your communications with me, my client, or any third parties.

            Your continued harassment of my client and now, his family, only deepens his resolve with regard to holding you accountable for your wrongful acts.  If you claim to be owed a debt from my client and/or his father, then I suggest that you make sure to confirm that your collection activities are in conformity with the Fair Debt Collections Act.  There is a statutory penalty for violations of that act of $1,000.00 per violation---thats per call, sir.

            You have been told twice now not to contact my client or his father.  I would suggest that you hire an attorney if you believe that there is any merit to your claims.
