Complaint Review: EPCON Construction Phx. AZ.

As a long time member of the local / state commercial and residential construction community, I have become aware of repeated fraudulent business activity on the part of EPCON Construction of Phx., AZ. The company I work for is a small specialty contractor providing goods and services to many residential and commercial projects throughout the Phx. metro area and the state of AZ. Our company provided goods and srvices to a local hospitality company on behalf of EPCON Construction last summer and all went well. However, it has become apparent that EPCON Construction has no intention of paying the agreed upon amount, despite a signed notarized contract and pri-lien being filed. The lien has recently been filed much to the concern of the hospitality company management/ownership. The hospitality company supplied us a copy of the check they gave to EPCON construction, yet EPCON Construction has consistantly delayed, lied and refused to pay us the money due month after month. We had no choice but to file a lawsuit recently.

Talking with an aquaintence the other day, he told me about another contractor who has also not been paid for providing goods and services. When I asked who the deadbeat company was, loe and behold, he told me EPCON construction is the company who burned the other sub-contractor. Surfing the web today, I decided to search "EPCON CONSTRUCTION does not pay", and I came upon this website where various rip-offs can be reported.

Forwarned is Forearmed: Regardless if you're a builder, homeowner, business, prospective employee, or anyone else, I urge you to avoid having anything to do with EPCON Construction of Phx. AZ. They also do business under the names "EPCON exterminating".
