I received a letter in the mail stating that I can "enjoy" my 10-day free trial for unlimted long distance. I never signed up with this company.

I emailed the company at "unlimited@ephonetelecom.com" to cancel and that I had never signed up with them in the first place.

Of course, the email that I sent returned undelivered. I let it go, since they didnt have any of my financial
information.

Then lo and behold 2 months later (Aug) my checking account was debited for $54.90. I called the bank because I couldnt figure out what this debit was for. My bank gave me the information and the phone number and I called Ephone.

"Suprisingly!!!" you could not get through to anyone human being and at the end of the hold of the century had to leave a message for "NO ONE" to get back to me.

Ephone has taken many people money for years now. Their are some customers who have been recieving debts from their bank accounts and don't even know it. I know of someone who have been recieving debt from his account for 16 months. He didn't know it until one of his checks bounced. Ephone always claim they will listen to a recording to prove you wrong. This is a lie. Most of the companies that they deal with have gone out of business or the Feds shut them down. If that has happend that mean Ephone don't have the recorded conversation. Always ask to listen to your recorded conversation. If they tell you they have to order it, that is a lie. They have it right there and they can play it for you. Don't take any answers from them about calling you back. They don't ever call back. Also that toll free # keep you on hold forever. I suggest to call them direct at 703.787.7000 Hit zero for the receptionist and have her transfer you to a rep. This the only way you are going to get through. I also I suggest getting an attorney. Don't file a complaint with the BBB. They have so many complaints on Ephone.

My suggestion is a few of us get together and get with Dateline or 20/20. This is the only way we are going to get justice. If we all contact our media sources about the same issue, they will love to uncover this story. We can't be scared of this company. We have to come together and bring it down. I am planning a rally to meet at the Herndon VA location. It will include many people who money have been stolen from their accounts. We are going to have signs and everything. I will also have a website to let everyone know what time we are having this. The plan is for April. They are not far from Wash Dulles Airport. So if we plan to fly in that is the closet airport. I will have the site up in three weeks with more details.

Also I know someone who had the unlimited program through ephone. The program states unlimited calling. Since he made over $1,200.00 per month they shut him off. Now if it is unlimited he should be able to use it as long as he want. The reason they shut it off because he cost the company money. He pays the company $54.90 per month for unlimited calling. They came up with some excuse why they shut it off. But for others who use and make $50-$100 calls they don't mind having you. This company is crazy.

Looks like a lot of similarities are showing through. The amount charged to credit cards and checking accounts are either alike or similar amounts. Florida and Virginia addresses for these creeps seem to be similar as well. I'm getting hot on the trail of these so-called honest executives and will relish seeing them caught regardless of who finds them first.
