Epic Sounds SO MUCH FOR HAPPY FATHERS DAY PRESENT... $400 on BOGUS EPIC SOUNDS SYSTEM Kenosha Wisconsin
Same as most of the other stories. A guy pulls up to me after i just got out of best buy. he tells me that hes a delivery man and that he was over issued a set of home entertainment system. he shows me the boxes and a magazine that shows the systems laid out. and the prices. he seems legite cause he had the fed ex package and all. so he strolls me over to an atm where i withdrew 400 bucks and took me back where he helped put it in the car. after he left i looked it up on the internet on my phone(which i shouldve done earlier) and found out i just got scammed.. but too late.. he was gone. i called the police but so much for their help. i think itd be a waste of time to even go in to file a report. not much they can really do now.

Another candidate for 'America's dumbest consumers'. This Best Buy parking lot tactic is well known to most that watch/read the news.

Possible, but unlikely recourse...

I'm sorry to see that this happened. By chance did they leave you a business card with an address? While the odds are against you, a few people have been able to take the equipment back to the warehouse and receive a refund.
A police report should be filed and you might as well file a complaint with your states Attorney General. Tell them that you were mislead into thinking that you were buying high end speakers.
